Project Description:
This project includes replacing the existing Des Moines Marina bulkhead, a creosote-treated timber wall essential to the marina infrastructure, with a new steel sheetpile wall. Crews are replacing a portion of the existing bulkhead, relocating and upgrading the marina travel lift pier, replacing portions of the guest moorage facilities, improving on-dock and shoreline utilities and services, and improving shoreline public access and parking facilities.
