Project Description:

This project consists of constructing a new water treatment plant on the existing water treatment plant site. Construction of the new 42 million gallon per day rated Water Treatment Plant includes the following:

  • Ballasted sedimentation pretreatment facility
  • Multi-media filtration facility
  • Intermediate low-lift, backwash waste. and filter-to-waste pumping stations
  • Operations and control center, office spaces, and common area
  • Chemical facility, including:
    • One ton cylinder gaseous chlorine facility
    • Dry bulk soda ash system
    • Bulk liquid alum storage and feed system
    • Bulk liquid caustic storage and teed system
    • Dry polymer feed systems
    • Bulk micro-sand storage and feed system
  • Underground piping utilidor
  • 2.1 million gallon steel finished water storage tank
  • Decant pump station
  • High service pump station and surge tank
  • Electrical substation upgrades and buried duct banks
  • Standby generation station
  • Yard and in-plant piping ranging in size from 2-inch to 50-inches in diameter
  • Plant-wide controls and instrumentation system

Performing all other associated yard piping, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and instrumentation work required for a completely operational system as specified within the Project Manual.
