IMCO has the second-best construction EMR in Washington state
IMCO’s corporate commitment to safety has contributed to a consistent downward trend in our EMR. As part of our commitment to safety we have expanded employee training and developed a safety recognition program. Retention of knowledgeable experienced employees is key to safety success.
Our Safety Managers actively manage our Safety Program by:
- Being among the first to show up on a new jobsite to prepare for the safety needs of the project
- Promptly following-up on any incidents or safety concerns
- Inspecting sites and quickly implementing any necessary changes to the Safety Program
- Ensuring that each jobsite has a Safety Team Leader (a craft person elected by his/her peers) who is the dedicated representative for safety on their project
- Extending responsibility to all site personnel and providing each with training, authority and responsibility to address any instance where safety is a concern
